Back Back Back

I’m taking Immunology, and it was the first day of class today. Wow, I haven’t been in a class like that since ’96, and I am feeling old! The class was great though. I have a feeling I’ll have to caffinate to keep up with lectures, it’s going to be a fun filled adventure for sure.

Other than that I spent most of the day getting a couple computers running over at the Alleycat. Hopefully they don’t get hacked. I’m trying to protect windows machines from the general public, but keep them usable at the same time. I know, you don’t need to tell me, it’s an exercise in futility. Add to the fact that the machines are all older than Teva, and it’s been an interesting little project.

Global Warming

In celebration of Bush’s inauguration, it was 66 degrees today. Hows that for global warming!

Not that I’m complaining, I got to take Buddy out for a ride.

But something to think about Mr. Bush, if your reading this (and rumor has it you might!): Not all of the sheep are following, There’s a few out there who are pissed off. I missed the main event, but there were people at this intersection all day. And a lot of others honking in support. You don’t have to worry about re-election, but I think you’ve still got a tough term ahead of you. They certainly didn’t vote for you, but once you get past the insults they’re hurling at you, those ’lost’ sheep have got some interesting stuff to say.

Happy Birthday Dad!

A shout out to my Dad, who’s birthday it is today. Happy birthday Dad!

Thanks for taking me along with you on so many adventures. And I do mean adventures; whether it was scrambling up and down valleys chasing game, struggling for breath at 12,000 feet, or drowning slowly off of Blackpoint in 20 feet of water, the lessons learned have been invaluable.

Scry 2005

Posted by Tim on January 9, 2005 @ 9:41 pm

I finally got around to doing the scry thing this morning after breakfast at Rachel’s. It looks to be an interesting year again..

Matara was hopeful, she saw herself swimming in the waves with dolphins and whales. She also saw socks and shoes.

Teva saw a flying dragon, quarry, and a dustball.

Perhaps it was an off day, but I looked at mine and saw a man struggling to get out of muck and mire, while he was drowning… um, no other comment:

And on that note, Happy New Year!!

January:
So it’s the new year, the kids stayed with their Abuelita, so I could get out. The night really wasn’t anything special, but when I got back I found that Rachel (Abuelita) and the kids had picked up a new thing, pretty fun.

Febuary:
Goddess
Just got back from the imbolc ritual. Matara was the goddess.

March:
The Passion, went and saw it tonight. Wow.

April:
It’s been a bomb of a week. I was told at work to ‘actively seek employment elsewhere’.

May:
DAMMIT ALL!! So my computer got infected with Sasser last Friday while I was online.

June:

Inspired by this creation on our fridge started by uncle Né, but worked on by all, the kids came up with a band…

July:

Full moon last night, Sara and I surfed Tongs on longboards.

August:
The kids just finished their first week of school, and start their 2nd week tomorrow.

September:

Turns out both kids are coming hunting with me. Matara just couldn’t keep away.

October:
I haven’t been posting, or taking many pictures lately. I’ve been meaning to get some of the wave pictures I took up, but I kept waiting for something relevant.
A friendly wave, from a friendly perspective.

November:

I got some new shoes for the war pony.

December:
